Gujarat RTE Admission 2026-27

The Right to Education (RTE) admission process for Class 1 in Gujarat has begun for the 2026-27 academic session.

Important Dates:

• Online Form Start Date: April 4, 2026
• Last Date to Submit Form: April 17, 2026 (till midnight)

Eligibility:

• Admission is for Class 1 under the RTE quota.
• Child must have completed the required age as of June 1, 2026.
• Family must meet the scheme’s income and category rules.

Documents Required:

• Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate or School Record)
• Proof of Residence (Aadhar Card, Electricity Bill, Ration Card)
• Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable)
• Income Certificate
• Income Tax Return document or Self-Declaration

How to Apply:

1. Visit the official RTE Gujarat portal.
2. Read the eligibility criteria and guidelines.
3. Fill in accurate details.
4. Upload required documents.
5. Submit the form and download/print the confirmation copy.
