Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Uttar Pradesh has released the official notification for the Uttar Pradesh Common Nursing Entrance Test (UP CNET) 2026.

Important Dates:

• Notification Release: 28 March 2026
• Application Start Date: 28 March 2026
• Last Date to Apply: 20 May 2026 (11:59 PM)
• Application Correction Window: 13 May – 20 May 2026
• Admit Card Release: 30 May 2026 (Tentative)
• Exam Date: 06 June 2026 (11:00 AM - 2:20 PM)
• Result Declaration: 2nd Week of June 2026

Courses Offered:

• B.Sc. Nursing (4-year)
• Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (2-year)
• M.Sc. Nursing / NPCC (2-year)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit: Minimum 17 years as of 31 December 2026.
• B.Sc. Nursing: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English (45% aggregate, 40% for SC/ST/OBC).
• Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing: 10+2 + GNM certificate.
• M.Sc. Nursing / NPCC: B.Sc./Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (55% marks) + 1 year work experience.

Application Fee:

• UR / OBC: ₹3000
• SC / ST / PwD: ₹2000

Exam Pattern:

• Mode: Offline (OMR-based)
• Duration: 140 minutes
• Total Questions: 120 MCQs
• Marking Scheme: +1 for correct answer, no negative marking.
• Medium: English & Hindi (B.Sc.), English only (Post Basic & M.Sc.)
