Government Medical College, Jalgaon, under the Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Mumbai, is recruiting medical faculty on a contractual basis for a period of 364 days.

• Associate Professor: 10 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen and a resident of Maharashtra.
• Educational Qualification: Appropriate MD, MS, DNB, or recognized medical qualification in the relevant subject.
• Experience:

  • Professor: Minimum 3 years experience as Associate Professor + NMC research publications + Basic Course in Medical Education Technology & Biomedical Research.
  • Associate Professor: Minimum 4 years experience as Assistant Professor + NMC research publications + Basic Course in Medical Education Technology & Biomedical Research.
• Age Limit: Maximum 69 years at the time of appointment.

Remuneration (Monthly)

• Professor: ₹1,85,000
• Associate Professor: ₹1,70,000

Selection Process

Selection is based on a Merit Assessment (100 Marks) followed by an interview:

• Qualification: 50 Marks
• Additional Qualification: 5 Marks
• Teaching Experience: 20 Marks
• Research Publications: 10 Marks
• Interview: 15 Marks
• Minimum Qualifying Mark: 41%
