Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a premier Miniratna Schedule 'A' Government of India company, is offering 210 apprenticeship seats for one year of training under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Vacancy Details

A total of 210 seats are available, split as follows:

• ITI Trade Apprentices: 205 seats across 16 trades (Electrician, Fitter, Welder, Machinist, etc.)
• Technician (Vocational) Apprentices: 5 seats in disciplines like Accounting, Nursing, and CRM.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education (ITI): 10th Standard pass and ITI (National Trade Certificate - NTC) in notified trades.
• Education (Vocational): Pass in Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE) in the concerned discipline.
• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years as of 08.10.2026.
• Domicile: Must be a domicile of Kerala.

Selection Process

There is no written examination. Selection is based on:

1. Merit Shortlisting: Based on percentage of marks in the prescribed qualification.
2. Certificate Verification: Original document check for shortlisted candidates.
3. Medical Fitness: Final selection subject to medical clearance.
