The Office of the District Basic Education Officer (BSA), Gorakhpur, is hiring for various contract-based (Samvida) positions for the 2026-27 academic session. These roles are specifically for Kasturba Gandhi Awasiya Balika Vidyalayas (KGBV) and upgraded KGBVs.

Eligibility & Qualification

• Principal/PGT: Post Graduate with B.Ed.
• Full-Time Teacher: Graduate with B.Ed.
• Accountant: Graduate in Commerce with Computer knowledge.
• Clerk: Intermediate pass with typing proficiency (Hindi 25 wpm / English 30 wpm).
• Support Staff (Cook/Peon/Chowkidar): Class 8th Pass.

Age Limit (as of 01-04-2026)

• General Posts: 25 to 45 Years
• Principal: 30 to 45 Years

Salary (Monthly Honorarium)

• Principal: ₹30,000
• PGT: ₹22,000
• Full-Time Teacher: ₹25,410
• Clerk/Accountant: ₹11,000 - ₹12,705
• Support Staff: ₹5,978 - ₹7,970

Selection Process

• Merit-Based: Principal, PGT, Teachers, Accountant, and Lab Assistant (based on academic marks).
• Typing Test: Office Superintendent/Clerk.
• Interview: Cook, Peon, and Chowkidar.
