MPESB has announced the Naib Tehsildar Departmental Limited Competitive Examination 2026. Please note that this is a Limited Departmental Exam and is NOT open to the general public.

Total Posts: 73

• Clerical Service Cadre: 46 Posts
• Patwari/Revenue Inspector Cadre: 27 Posts (Includes Direct Recruitment and Backlog vacancies)

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

• Departmental Status: Must be a regular/officiating employee for at least 5 years in the Revenue Mandal, Commissioner Land Records, Principal Revenue Commissioner, Divisional Commissioner, or Collector establishments.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, or Agriculture from a recognized university.
• Age Limit: Maximum 55 years as of 01 January 2026.

💰 Salary & Fees

• Pay Scale: Level-9 (₹36,200 – ₹1,14,800)
• Application Fee: ₹2,000 (plus portal charges)

✍️ Selection Process

Selection is based on two objective-type papers (100 marks each):

• Paper I: General Reasoning, GK, Hindi, English, Maths, Science, and Computer Knowledge.
• Paper II: Govt Service Rules, Revenue Terminology, Land Revenue Code 1959, Revenue Book Circular, and Land Records Rules.
• Qualifying Marks: 55% for General; 40% for SC/ST.
