- OBC Candidates: Must provide a Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate issued on or after 01.04.2026. Without this, candidates will be treated as General/UR.
- EWS Certificates: Must be issued on or after 01.04.2026 as per West Bengal Government guidelines.
- Domicile Proof: Domicile certificates issued by elected representatives (MLA, MP, Councilor, etc.) are NOT acceptable. Use Proforma b or e-District certificates.
- PwD: Seats are filled on a horizontal basis within respective categories.
