The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released Advertisement No. 11/2026 for the selection of candidates for seven distinct posts across various Central Government Ministries, Departments, and the UT of Ladakh.

• Assistant Public Prosecutor (Govt. of NCT of Delhi): 140 Posts
• Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (General Medicine): 60 Posts
• Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Anatomy): 4 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

• Medical Roles: MBBS plus PG degree/diploma in respective specialties with required teaching or clinical experience (usually 3-5 years).
• Law Roles: Degree in Law with required experience at the bar (2-3 years). Ladakh posts require a valid Domicile Certificate.
• Assistant Editor: Bachelor's degree in Journalism/Mass Communication or related field with 3 years of editing experience.

Selection Process

• Mode: Recruitment by Selection (Interview-based).
• Shortlisting: In case of high application volume, UPSC may implement shortlisting criteria based on desirable qualifications or a Recruitment Test (RT).
• Suitability: Minimum marks required in interviews vary by category (UR: 50, OBC: 45, SC/ST/PwBD: 40).
