The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has announced recruitment for Group-A & Group-B Gazetted (Technical) Posts-2026 (Part-II). This is a prestigious opportunity for permanent residents of Arunachal Pradesh to serve in the Finance and Home Departments.

Vacancy Breakdown

• Finance & Accounts Officer / Treasury Officer: 7 Posts (Group-A, Level 10)
• Sub-Treasury Officer: 7 Posts (Group-B, Level 7)
• Assistant Director (Prosecution): 5 Posts (Group-A, Level 10)
• Assistant Public Prosecutor: 18 Posts (Group-B, Level 8)

Eligibility Criteria

Mandatory Requirements:

• Nationality: Citizen of India.
• Residence: Must hold a valid Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of Arunachal Pradesh.
• Status: Must be an Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) member.
• Language: Proficiency in an indigenous tribal language of Arunachal Pradesh is essential.

Educational Qualification:

• Finance/Treasury Roles: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, or any degree with Statistics/Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
• Legal Roles: Bachelor of Law (LLB) with a minimum of 7 years of active practice in criminal courts (or experience as a First Class Magistrate).

Selection Process

1. Screening Test: Objective type (conducted if application volume is high).
2. Written Examination: Consists of General English & GS (150 marks) and two Subject Papers (150 marks each).
3. Viva-Voce: Final interview (50 marks).

• Minimum: 21 Years
• Maximum: 35 Years
• Relaxation: Up to 5 years for APST and up to 15 years for APST PwBD candidates.
