- Login: Visit the portal and log in using your Application ID and Password.
- Selection: Navigate to the CAP Round 1 Option Form and select preferred colleges/course codes.
- Ordering: Arrange your choices in strict order of preference.
- Confirmation: Save the draft and lock the form using SMS or Email OTP.
- Verification: Download the 'Confirmed Option Form PDF' for your records.
⚠️ Critical Instructions for Candidates
- Hardware: Use a desktop or laptop to avoid errors during the drag-and-drop reordering of preferences.
- Browser: Use updated versions of Chrome, Firefox, or Edge with pop-up blockers disabled for OTP verification.
- Session Timeout: The portal has a 15-minute idle timeout; save your drafts frequently.
- Locking: If you do not lock the form with an OTP, the system will auto-lock the saved choices at the deadline.
- Seat Forfeiture: Failure to submit required documents or the ₹1,000 seat acceptance fee within the timeline will result in automatic forfeiture of the seat.
