MP Police, under the Home Department, is recruiting for Constable (General Duty) positions. The examination is conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Karmachari Chayan Mandal (MPESB), Bhopal.

Total Posts: 7,500

• Constable (GD - Special Armed Force): 700 posts (Male only)
• Constable (GD - excluding SAF): 6,800 posts (Male & Female)

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:

  • UR/SC/OBC: 10th or 12th pass from a recognized board.
  • ST Category: 8th pass.
• Age Limit (as on 06-Oct-2026):

  • Minimum: 18 Years
  • Maximum: 33 years (General/EWS/Other States), 38 years (Reserved/Females), up to 43 years for specific relaxation categories.
• Domicile: Must have a live registration at a Madhya Pradesh State Employment Office. Non-domicile candidates can apply under the UR category.

Selection Process

1. Written Online Examination: 100 MCQs, 100 Marks, 2 Hours. No negative marking.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Based on written exam cut-off.
3. Document Verification: Final validation of credentials.

Salary & Fee

• Pay Scale: ₹19,500 – ₹62,000 (Stipend based for first 3 years).
