APPSC Combined Competitive Examination (APPSCCE) Recruitment 2026

Recruitment Overview

The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has announced the Combined Competitive Examination-2026 (APPSCCE-2026) for recruitment to 135 vacancies across various Group-A and Group-B services in the Government of Arunachal Pradesh.

Vacancy Details

A total of 135 posts are available across 13 services, including:

• APCS (Entry Grade): 60 Posts
• Assistant Section Officer: 38 Posts
• APPS (Entry Grade): 10 Posts
• Other Posts: CDPO, DIPRO, DF&CSO, DTO, Labour Officer, and more.

Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory)

This is a restricted recruitment. Candidates must meet ALL three conditions:

1. Permanent Residence: Must hold a valid Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of Arunachal Pradesh.
2. Indigenous Status: Must hold an Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) Certificate.
3. Language Proficiency: Must be able to speak an indigenous tribal language of the state.

Qualification & Age Limit

• Education: Graduate Degree from a UGC-recognized university (Candidates appearing in final exams may apply provisionally).
• Age Limit: 21 to 35 years as of 20th October 2026.
• Relaxation: APST (5 years), PwBD (15 years), Defence Personnel (8 years).

Selection Process

1. Preliminary Examination:

   • Paper I (General Studies) & Paper II (CSAT - Qualifying).
   • Negative marking: 1/3rd mark.
2. Main Examination:

   • 8 subjective written papers including a qualifying English paper.
3. Interview/Viva-Voce:

   • Final stage for shortlisted candidates.
