WB JELET 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Released

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has officially declared the Round 1 Seat Allotment Result for JELET 2026 on September 8, 2026. Candidates who completed registration and choice locking can now log in to check their allotted seat for Lateral Entry into 2nd year (3rd semester) B.E / B.Tech / B.Pharm degree courses.

Important Dates for JELET 2026 Counselling

• Round 1 Allotment Result: September 8, 2026
• Seat Acceptance Fee (₹5,000) & Physical Reporting: September 8 to September 10, 2026 (till 5:00 PM)
• Round 2 (Upgradation) Result: September 11, 2026
• Round 2 Reporting: September 11 to September 13, 2026
• Mop-Up Round Registration: September 15 to September 17, 2026
• Mop-Up Round Allotment Result: September 19, 2026

Options Available After Allotment

• No-Upgradation (Seat Freeze): Select this if you are satisfied with the seat. Pay the ₹5,000 seat acceptance fee and complete physical admission at the allotted institute.
• Yes-Upgradation: Pay the seat acceptance fee and report to retain the Round 1 seat while staying eligible for a better seat in Round 2.

How to Check Allotment Status

1. Visit the official WBJEEB portal.
2. Click on the JELET 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result link.
3. Enter your Application Number / Roll Number, Password, and Security PIN.
4. View your allotment details and download the provisional allotment letter.

Important Instructions

• Paying the online seat acceptance fee alone does not confirm admission. Physical reporting with original documents is compulsory.
• Failure to report within the deadline leads to automatic seat cancellation and disqualification from Round 2.
