NVS Class XI Lateral Entry Selection Test 2027

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has announced the admission process for Class XI (11th) for the academic session 2027-28 against vacant seats in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs).

• Registration Start Date: 2 September 2026
• Application Deadline: 30 September 2026 (Wednesday)
• Date of Selection Test: 10 April 2027 (Saturday)

📝 Application Process

1. Visit the official NVS portal.
2. Read the notification-cum-prospectus for eligibility.
3. Fill in basic details: state/district of residence and study, and Aadhaar number.
4. Upload required documents: Photograph and signatures (Candidate & Parent).
5. Select up to two streams and up to three preferred JNVs per stream.
6. Review and submit the final application.

⚠️ Key Instructions

• Aadhaar Mandatory: Candidates without an Aadhaar number must apply for enrolment before registering.
• Verification: Provisional selection is subject to successful document verification.
• Transfer Certificate: Apply for TC from the current school only after admission confirmation by the allotted JNV.
• Accuracy: No correction requests will be entertained after the correction window closes.
