Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Subedar / SI (SAF/DEF): Graduate degree from a recognized university.
• SI (Arms): 3-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• SI (Photo/QD/Finger Print): Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

Age Limit (as of 23.09.2026)

• Male (UR): 33 Years
• Male/Female (Reserved/MP Domicile): 38 Years
• Female (MP Domicile): 38 Years
• Special Relaxations: Up to 43 years for specific categories (inter-caste marriage/Vikram Award winners).

Selection Process

1. Preliminary Written Exam: Objective type (100 Marks).
2. Main Written Exam: Two to three compulsory papers (600-900 Marks).
3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): 800m race, Long Jump, and Shot Put.
4. Interview: Final stage (50 Marks).

Salary & Benefits

Pay Level 9: ₹36,200 – ₹1,14,800. Candidates undergo a 3-year probation with a graded stipend (70%, 80%, and 90% of minimum pay).
