NCL PM Internship Scheme Recruitment 2026 Notification

Overview

Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), a Miniratna PSU and subsidiary of Coal India Limited, is offering 73 internship vacancies across various disciplines under the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS) for the financial year 2026-27.

Vacancy Details

The vacancies are distributed across the following trade/discipline combinations:

• Foreman (Electrical): 17 Posts (Diploma in Electrical)
• Foreman (Mechanical): 16 Posts (Diploma in Mechanical)
• Lab Technician: 13 Posts (B.Sc in Chemistry)
• Clerk: 9 Posts (Bachelor of Commerce)
• Pharmacist: 9 Posts (Diploma in Pharmacy)
• Overseer: 9 Posts (Diploma in Civil)

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: 18 to 25 years (as of 01-04-2026).
• Education: Candidates must hold the relevant diploma or degree from a recognized institute/university as specified in the trade list.

Internship Benefits & Terms

• Stipend: ₹9,000 per month (credited to Aadhaar-linked bank account).
• Duration: 9 months from the date of engagement.
• Selection Process: Based on the merit list (aggregate percentage scores of the qualifying examination in descending order).
• Nature of Engagement: This is a training internship and does not lead to regular employment with NCL or Coal India Limited.
