Overview

The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra is conducting the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2026 for admission into various professional undergraduate programmes across participating colleges in Maharashtra.

Important Dates for Round 4

• Vacant Seats Displayed: August 29, 2026
• Allotment List Release: September 5, 2026
• Overall CAP Window Closing: September 8, 2026

Eligibility for Round 4 Participation

• Candidates who did not accept any seat allotted in Rounds 1, 2, or 3.
• Candidates who accepted a seat previously but selected the 'Betterment' option.

Key Instructions

• Betterment Option: Once a seat is accepted without choosing 'betterment', the candidate exits the CAP pool.
• Institute Level Round: Any seats remaining vacant after Round 4 will be transferred to the Institute Level admission round for direct filling by colleges.
• Documentation: Keep your Application ID and password secure for all subsequent login requirements.
