Recruitment Overview

ICAR – National Research Centre for Banana (NRCB) is offering a one-year training opportunity under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act, 1973. This is a merit-based selection process for fresh graduates and diploma holders.

Total Posts: 20

• Graduate Apprentices (18 Posts):

  • B.Sc (Life Science): 6 Posts
  • B.Sc (Agriculture/Horticulture): 4 Posts
  • B.Sc (Biotechnology/Botany/BCA/Computer Science): 2 Posts each
  • B.Sc (Biochemistry/Chemistry): 1 Post each
• Technician Apprentices (2 Posts):

  • Diploma (Agriculture/Horticulture): 2 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Degree or Diploma in the relevant discipline from a UGC-approved university/institute.
• Passing Year: Must have passed in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026.
• Experience: Candidates with 1 year or more of work experience or those who have already completed an apprenticeship are NOT eligible.
• Mandatory Requirement: Must be registered on the NATS Portal.

Stipend

• Graduate Apprentices: ₹12,300 per month
• Technician Apprentices: ₹10,900 per month

Selection Process

• Mode: Purely based on Merit (Aggregate marks of the qualifying degree/diploma).
• Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for certificate verification at the Tiruchirappalli center.
