Overview

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has moved the Karnataka UGCET 2026 Round 2 counselling into its final stage. Candidates allotted seats in this round must adhere to the revised schedule for choice selection and physical reporting to avoid automatic cancellation of their seats.

Revised Important Dates

• Final Round 2 Seat Allotment: August 24/25, 2026
• Choice Selection & Fee Payment Window: August 25 to August 27, 2026
• Physical Reporting to Allotted College: August 28, 2026

Mandatory Choice Selection

In Round 2, only two options are available. Candidates must select one:

• Choice 1 (Accept Seat): Candidate accepts the college/course, pays the fee, and reports physically. This exits the counselling process.
• Choice 4 (Reject & Exit): Candidate rejects the seat and exits the counselling process entirely. No fee is required, but no further rounds are accessible.

Step-by-Step Process

1. Log in to the official KEA portal using your CET application number and password.
2. Check the UGCET 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result.
3. Select either Choice 1 or Choice 4 before the deadline.
4. If Choice 1 is selected, pay the seat acceptance fee online.
5. Download the Admission Order/Confirmation Slip.
6. Report physically to the allotted college with original documents by August 28, 2026.
