UGC NET June 2026 Result Overview

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the results for the UGC NET June 2026 examination held between 22nd and 30th June 2026.

Key Statistics:

• Total Registered (84 Subjects): 7,73,806
• Total Appeared: 6,07,151
• Total Qualified: 1,47,579
• Qualified for JRF & Assistant Professor: 4,241

Re-Examination Schedule

Results for three subjects are pending and will undergo re-examination:

• English: 9 September 2026 (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
• Commerce: 9 September 2026 (3:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
• Sociology: 10 September 2026 (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

Minimum Qualifying Marks

Qualification is based on the aggregate percentage of both papers combined:

• General / Unreserved: 40%
• OBC-NCL / SC / ST / PwD / Third Gender: 35%

How to Download Scorecard

1. Visit the official NTA UGC NET portal.
2. Navigate to the Candidate Activity section.
3. Click on the Scorecard link for June 2026.
4. Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth.
5. Download and print the scorecard for future use (Physical marksheets are not issued).

Important Notes

• Ensure all personal and academic details on the scorecard are correct.
• Candidates of English, Commerce, and Sociology should wait for separate admit cards for the September re-exams.
