The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, is seeking applications for 76 posts of Head Constable (Laboratory Assistant), Head Constable (Physiotherapy Assistant), and Constable (Nursing Assistant cum Medic).

Important Dates:

• Advertisement Publication: 21 March 2026
• Last Date to Apply: Approximately 20 April 2026 (30 days from 21 March 2026)
• Admit Card/PET-PST Date: To be notified
• Written Examination Date: To be notified

Posts & Pay Scale:

• Head Constable (Laboratory Assistant): 30 posts, Level-4 (₹25,500–₹81,100)
• Head Constable (Physiotherapy Assistant): 12 posts, Level-4 (₹25,500–₹81,100)
• Constable (Nursing Assistant cum Medic): 34 posts, Level-3 (₹21,700–₹69,100)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age: 18-27 years (Relaxation applicable for SC/ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen, and others - see details in the full notification)
• Education: Varies by post (see full notification for details)
• Experience: Minimum one year of relevant experience.

Selection Process:

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
2. Physical Standard Test (PST)
3. Written Examination (Computer Based Test)
4. Documentation & Medical Examination
