The Directorate of Land Records & Surveys, Assam, is recruiting for 552 Land Records Assistant (LRA) positions under the Assam Land Records Sub-Ordinate Service Rules (Amendment) 2025.

- Scale of Pay: P.B.-2 Rs. 14,000 – 70,000 + Grade Pay Rs. 6,200
- Eligibility: HSLC or equivalent + 6 months RCCC Training from Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon (excluding Sixth Schedule districts). Computer proficiency and Assamese/Bengali typing skills (30 wpm Unicode) are required.
- Age Limit: 21-40 years (as of 01.01.2025) - relaxation as per Assam Govt. rules.
- Selection Process: Written Examination (80 marks - Maths, Conventional & Modern Survey) + Skill Test (20 marks - Computer Proficiency).
